one-day workshop on comparative clinical methods

The Comparative Clinical Method (CCM) has now been developed into a systematic way for analytic practitioners to discover their own implicit 'working model', that is the form of internal logic that underpins their everyday practice.

This workshop follows on from the introductory seminar held in November 2018.

Laurence Spurling and Ronald Doctor have attended some of the conferences put on by the Comparative Clinical Method association, in which the method is used as part of an ongoing research project, and would like to give bpf members the experience of using this approach.

This CPD seminar is offered by the Post-Qualifying Committee of the PPA and is open to all qualified members across the bpf.

who is it for

All qualified bpf members who attended the introductory seminar on 5th November 2018.

Members who did not attend this introductory seminar need to do some introductory reading, Spurling, L (2018) “Do we need to know what we are doing?”, in the current October 2018 issue of the British Journal of Psychotherapy, and preferably Tuckett, D ed. (2008) Psychoanalysis Comparable and Incomparable, Routledge.
