It is an opportunity to observe an Independent approach in practice and to gain a deeper understanding of how we work with children and adolescents. bpf Members' Event

This is a live online space for IPCAPA child psychotherapists to present their work to a senior child clinician in the presence of an audience of bpf members. It is an opportunity to observe an Independent approach in practice and to gain a deeper understanding of how we work with children and adolescents. Members of the audience will also be able to comment and ask questions.

These sessions will be scheduled once a term, with our first being on Weds 21st February 7.30pm-9.00pm. Our senior clinician for this event will be Child Psychotherapist Peter Wilson.

Peter Wilson is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist who qualified in 1971 at the then Hampstead Child Therapy Course and Clinic (now the Anna Freud Centre). Since then, he has held senior positions at the Camberwell Child Guidance Clinic, the Brent Centre for Young People, the Institute of Psychiatry, the Peper Harow Community and The Place2Be. He was Director of the Brandon Centre and Founder and Director of Young Minds. He currently teaches and supervises trainee and qualified child psychotherapists.
