Description

Join us for an online Open Day to learn more about the bpf's Intensive Summer School: Foundations of Psychoanalytic & Jungian Psychotherapy, a 4.5-day online course designed to introduce key concepts in psychoanalytic and Jungian psychotherapy.

This summer school offers a rigorous yet accessible introduction to how psychoanalytic and Jungian ideas help illuminate human development across the lifespan — from early life through adulthood and relationships. You’ll explore foundational theories, symbolic life, unconscious processes, and the cultural significance of depth psychology in both personal and professional contexts.

Event highlights:

  • Overview of the Foundations of Psychoanalytic & Jungian Psychotherapy course content and structure.

  • Insights into how the course integrates theory with reflective discussion and developmental perspectives.

  • Live Q&A session to answer your questions about learning pathways and training at the British Psychotherapy Foundation.

The session will be led by Dr Wayne Full, Director of Academic & Strategic Development, and Dr Frances Gillies, both of whom will be on hand to discuss the course and respond to your questions.

Whether you’re new to psychotherapy, considering future study, or curious about psychoanalytic and Jungian ideas, this Open Day is a great opportunity to find out more and see if the course is right for you.
