If you are struggling with your mental health, please consider the following:
- Talk to a friend, family member or your tutor — they can support you and help you access services.
- Register with a local GP so you can discuss how you’re feeling and explore support options, such as medication or referrals.
Recognising a Mental Health Crisis
Signs you may be in crisis include:
- Isolating yourself or engaging in risky behaviour (e.g., alcohol or drug misuse)
- Changes in eating or sleeping patterns
- Hallucinations, paranoia, panic attacks or flashbacks
- Thoughts of self-harm or suicide
