Description
This series offers a live online space for IPCAPA child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapists to present their clinical work to a senior child psychotherapy clinician, in the presence of a professional audience. It is an opportunity to observe an Independent approach in practice, and to gain a deeper understanding of how we work with children, adolescents and young adults.
We are delighted that Dr Monica Lanyado is going to be in the supervisor’s chair for this event. Monica has worked with severely neglected and traumatised children for over 50 years. Shye has published widely and taught and lectured internationally.
We are very pleased that Milo Gillies will be presenting clinical material of an adolescent case. Milo is a 4th year IPCAPA trainee working in Haringey CAMHS, in both the generic and Under Fives teams. Milo has a background in philosophy and taught in primary schools prior to training. His research is concerned with the relationship between psychoanalytic theory and clinical practice.
The event will allow time for thoughts and questions from the audience and we look forward to seeing you.
Ferelyth Watt – Chair IPCAPA on behalf of the IPCAPA Executive Cttee.
