About
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it often takes courage to reach out. I aim to offer a calm, supportive space where you can speak freely, and where we can reflect together to make sense of what you’re going through.
Therapy can be particularly helpful if you are reflecting on change — in relationships, work, identity, or how you relate to yourself. Rather than offering quick solutions, I work with you to understand the deeper patterns shaping your choices, so that any change that emerges feels grounded and truly your own.
My approach is psychodynamic, which means we explore how your present thoughts, feelings, and relationships may be shaped by earlier experiences and relationships. We work with curiosity and compassion, at a pace that feels manageable. Over time, this process can help you develop a stronger sense of self and relate to yourself and others with greater freedom.
There is no fixed agenda for sessions. You are invited to bring whatever feels important — current difficulties, relationships, work, life transitions, or a sense of feeling stuck. I pay attention to the whole of your experience, both spoken and unspoken, and we may also explore patterns that repeat over time, dreams, and early experiences that continue to have an impact in the present.
I work in person from my practice in N20, and online (including internationally).
When you get in touch, I usually suggest a brief Zoom conversation so we can meet and discuss what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. If it feels like a good fit, we can then arrange an initial session and begin to think together about what ongoing work might look like.
Training therapy (students)
If you are a counselling or psychotherapy student, I may be able to be your training therapist. Please get in touch to discuss your training requirements. In some cases, it may also be possible to work together as a trainee intensive patient (in-person, three times weekly), depending on your training needs and availability.
Low-fee intensive psychotherapy (3x weekly, in person)
I currently have availability for a low-fee intensive therapy place (in person, three times weekly), with a minimum commitment of two years. Fees are offered on a sliding scale (£10–£25 per session). If this might suit you, please get in touch. Counselling and psychotherapy students may also apply for this scheme.
