Vacancy – BJAA Training Director

Location:  Hybrid – a combination of office and remote working 

Role type & hours:  Part Time, 2 days per week. Including some evenings and weekends.

Salary:  £60,000 FTE, £24,000 for 2 days. 

We are currently recruiting a BJAA Training Director at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf). The bpf is one of the largest psychotherapy membership and training organisations in Europe, with 600 members and trainees.  We are also a UK registered charity.  We train therapists through high-quality, intensive clinical training programmes; and we promote increased public awareness and access to the therapies we teach. 

Role description

The BJAA Training Director will oversee the planning, running and delivery of the BJAA Trainings. 

You will oversee the annual programme of BJAA trainings in collaboration with the Training (TC), the Postgraduate Committee (PGC) and New Approaches to Theory (NAT) group. You will also oversee selection coordination for Intensive, Modified Entry Scheme and psychotherapy trainings.

Vacancy – Financial Controller

Role type: Part Time (0.6 FTE) 

Salary: £50,000 FTE (0.6 FTE) £30,000 per annum. 

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (bpf). The bpf is one of the largest psychotherapy membership and training organisations in Europe, with 600 members and trainees.  We are also a UK registered charity.  We train therapists through high-quality, intensive clinical training programmes; we provide a dynamic professional home for our members; and we promote increased public awareness and access to the therapies we teach. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that bpf delivers best value services within its budget.

Role description

As a Financial Controller at the bpf, you will support the Director of Corporate Services to play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the organisation. 

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. You would also work closely with other members of the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the underline accounting records are maintained accurately and kept up to date and be responsible for the line management of one member of staff.
