About

I am an individual and couple psychoanalytic psychotherapist, experienced at working with multiple issues and problems both individuals and couples encounter in their lives together and apart. I see individuals for intensive therapy and less frequently. I am also qualified as an MBT (Mentalisation Based Therapy) therapist, able to work effectively and comfortably with highly conflicted couples. Alongside my private practice I work with Tavistock Relationships and am registered with the BCP. My first qualification and work was as a Radiotherapy Radiographer, and I understand the emotional issues when both individuals and couples are going through illness and ageing processes.
Apart from my private practice I have had 20 years experience in the NHS working at Springfield University Hospital as a Psychotherapist on an eating disorder unit and in the borderline psychotherapy department.
